Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park is known for its excellent elk viewing and high mountain vistas. Though it isn't void of fall foliage, it is one of the more arid climates in the rocky range and not necessarily known for its color. High above this cool mountain lake, a small grove of aspens put on a wondrous display every year. Dazzling in brilliant yellows and reds, these aspens overlook a pristine mountain scene which truly resembles an oasis in this arid region.
