Grand Teton National Park
Wyoming, USA
The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is one of the most diverse in the entire world. It offers habitat to a multitude of different species all contributing a part of themselves to make it what it is. Here, at the first light of dawn, the Teton Range is illuminated in reflections from the Snake River. These still waters are not by coincidence though. Beavers have dammed up this portion of river for refuge and fishing. As the beavers move their lodges, their dams also change, thus continually altering this river and the beautiful reflections found within it.
